"Seasonal Elegance"
The objective of this university project was to create a fashion editorial with a compelling story and look. The theme I chose are the four seasons, represented in elegant fashion. Each season should capture the feeling of its season and display unconventional and new fashion.
Production
In order to successfully transfer the mood of each season onto an image, the most important part is the lighting. For every season, a certain color combination or contrast is chosen to evoke the feeling of winter, spring, summer or fall. The whole series needed to be vibrant and colorfull to convey the various emotions and beauty of the seasons. The fashion should also be eye-catching and unusual, but still have a practical use.

Winter
The obvious color choice for winter is a cool blue tone. However, to truly capture the essence of a warming morning sun mingling with a frosty sky, I decided to incorporate warm tones that seamlessly blend together. By using a palette that includes soft whites and gentle golds, the imagery evokes the quiet elegance of a snow-covered landscape kissed by the first light of day.
The first dress (right) emulates an elegant snowy landscape while providing warmth with its fur. The second outfit mirrors the bare tree branches of winter, with a hint of the cold East Asian regions.

Spring
To capture spring's joyous and colorful spirit, the color choice is a mix of vibrant tones of yellow, light blue, and green. These colors symbolize the rebirth and renewal that spring brings, echoing the blossoming flowers and fresh greenery.

The essence of summer is captured in the vision of a warm, late afternoon by the deep blue sea, where the sun's golden rays dance across the water, creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow. This vibrant contrast embodies the season's warmth and energy.
