Synopsis

SCHWARZ-BLICKE

2026

A forest wakes and begins to sing, its music growing fuller with every breath of wind and drop of rain. But its song keeps breaking: abstract flashes tear through the harmony, each one a wound we've inflicted on nature. Pulled back to reveal how small and alone it truly is, the forest keeps playing until the light fades and the day ends where it began.

STILLLIGHT

Natural and Artificial

At the center of this piece is the conflict between natural and artificial, nature disrupted my manmade disasters. To mirror this in the technical approach, a nature scene was captured in real life through gaussian splatting, a new and organic way of 3D scanning, to get the most natural feel digitally. the SCHWARZBLICKE, each resembling a different crisis, are then generated within this scan and use the data for visual traits like color and structure. This mirrors the actual disruption of man within nature and give a striking visual contrast.
