"Aevum "
"Aevum" is a yet unreleased crypto-education startup from Germany. They offer trading tools and various online courses in the form of video courses, which cover almost the whole complexity of the world of crypto, In order to maintain a modern style, visual appearance takes a more filmic style, leaning onto platforms like Netflix.

As one of my first freelance projects, I was given the responsibility of Aevum's corporate design. This included animation, video editing and graphic design. The core to Aevum are the videos, which is why designing the title designs for each series was a great task.
Production

Aevum offers 7 different courses, each covering a unique part of crypto.with an intro and outro in a cohesive style. Every show was designed to have its own philosophy and feeling, corresponding to the content. In order to create a unique look and feel for every program, I developed a distinguished visual style for each. Certain visual elements like glitches reappear in a style to keep them consistent and unique.

To prevent all the series looking overly detached from another, they all keep a similar animation style. Going along with Aevum's  clean visual language, the animation is a mix of simple 2d and 3d illusions in AfterEffects.
'Aevum Formula' is the heart of Aevum, a distinctive crypto strategy developed by the founder. The aim for all series was to evoke the sensation of watching real shows, similar to Netflix. Thus, Aevum Formula draws inspiration from one of the most iconic TV shows: Breaking Bad.

The challenge was to create a look that was clearly inspired by Breaking Bad, yet distinct enough to stand on its own. To align with Aevum's primary color palette, the scheme was shifted to blue, moving away from the original's green and yellow toxic tones. As the secret formula to trading, the Aevum Formula aimed to capture the mystique of Breaking Bad. The use of smoke and dust textures not only evokes this feeling but also serves as a direct nod to Breaking Bad's iconic title design.
The program 'The Billion Dollar Code' is a nod to the German TV show, capturing its essence through a meticulous recreation of the original's iconic code visuals. By incorporating the classic green code lines, the design establishes a strong visual theme that not only pays homage to the show but also sets it apart from other programs.

Accompanied by technical sounds and glitch effects, the audio design evokes a thrilling and intense mood.
The series 'Digital Architect' draws inspiration from the meticulous process of architectural design, where every detail is carefully planned and executed. By incorporating elements such as sketch lines and grids, the series mirrors the precision and creativity involved in crafting a successful trading strategy. The analog style, reminiscent of traditional blueprints, adds a layer of authenticity and depth, inviting viewers to explore the intricate world of trading with the same curiosity and attention to detail as an architect.

The sound design features soothing tones paired with sketching noises to enhance the analog atmosphere.
As the course progresses, 'Mastering the Markets' delves into advanced trading techniques and strategies, offering participants the opportunity to refine their skills with real-world applications. The course is designed to challenge learners, pushing them to apply their knowledge in simulated trading environments that mimic actual market conditions.

The visual style is intentionally bright and minimalistic, symbolizing clarity and precision, while the accompanying soundscape of uplifting tones reinforces a sense of achievement and mastery.
Mind Mapping delves into the intricate theories and strategies of trading, drawing visual inspiration from the cinematic masterpiece 'The Godfather'. By incorporating the iconic sepia tones, the series evokes a sense of nostalgia and gravitas, while the addition of a sharp red accent ensures it stands out distinctly from other programs.

The sound design complements this visual style, featuring orchestral cello scores that lend a grand and epic feel to the program, mirroring the high-stakes world of trading.
The series 'One Day or Day One' revolves around the psychological and philosophical aspects of trading, inspired by the motivational saying that emphasizes the importance of taking action today rather than postponing it.  The visual style is ethereal and light, symbolizing the clarity and enlightenment that comes with understanding the deeper principles of trading. The silver tones and light effects convey a sense of wisdom and knowledge.

Accompanied by a gentle and uplifting soundscape, the program creates an atmosphere of contemplation, guiding viewers through the mental and emotional journey of becoming a successful trader.
"The Power of Crypto" takes an electrifying approach, exploring the dynamic potential and energy inherent in trading. To visually represent this concept, lightning serves as the perfect metaphor for power and impact. Departing from the conventional blue hues often associated with crypto and electricity, the program adopts a bold yellow color scheme, ensuring a distinctive and memorable aesthetic.

The audio design mirrors this intensity, with striking sound effects that emphasize the formidable nature of the crypto world, creating an immersive experience that captures the power of crypto and trading.
Additionally, this animation for the landing page animation is designed to immediately draw the viewer's eye upon visiting the Aevum website. It embodies Aevum's modern and minimalist design principles, featuring a cohesive gray and blue color scheme that reinforces the brand's visual identity. This animation not only captures attention but also provides an engaging introduction to the platform's innovative approach to crypto education.
